I was caught off guard that the first habit in the list for financially responsible people was meditation. It is interesting to understand that having a dis-regulated inner self is the cause/correlation for irresponsible spending urges.
I haven't tried meditation recently; however, I started incorporating focused breathwork when I'm at home or out and about to regulate my thoughts and re-center my being. Now, I think I will try focused breath work in public and mediation at home when I feel the urge to spend money.
I appreciate the author's insights.
